Meet Our Pastor

We’ve been waiting for you! It’s true. We believe that it is not by accident that you are here. God has brought you to us to be a part of the worship experience. As the Pastor of Solid Rock AME Zion Church, it is my pleasure to extend to you my hand of warmth, grace, and love.

At Solid Rock, we seek to provide three things for our members and guests. These three are opportunities to worship, to grow, and to serve. Our goal in worship is that you experience worship, not be entertained by it. Opportunities to grow in your faith and relationship with Christ are available for all ages. Finally, opportunities to serve are abundant here at our church. We seek to lead all believers to discover their gifts and talents and to use them in service.

Above all else, we want to express Christ’s love to you through His word and through our actions. We’re eager to know you and we’re excited to share with you the marvelous ways God is working in our ministry. It won’t take you long to discover that Solid Rock is truly a family, rich in the relationships that matter most. Growing spiritually together, we worship God through songs, prayers, and the taught word. Our doors are open; our hearts are open to you, no matter who you are. If you’ve been thinking, praying, searching, and hoping for a place to belong, then Solid Rock is the place for you. If you are led, by the Spirit of God, to join us we encourage you to do so.
